Summer Intern Session: Our Summer Intern Session begins the week of May 26, 2020 and ends the week of August 10, 2020. We will begin accepting interested intern candidate cover letters and resumes starting on Monday, April 13th through Friday, May 22nd only to Rick@musictampabay.com. Any candidate resumes and cover letters sent before the April 6th acceptance date will not be considered and will be deleted. Please include in your cover letters a little bit about yourself, what your career goal is, and why you should be chosen as a 96.7 Music Tampa Bay intern. Also, please include your weekly availability, Monday through Friday between the hours of 6am-midnight.

Please note that it is a mandatory requirement for all Music Tampa Bay interns to be enrolled in college and able to receive college credit for the internship as it is a non-paid, college credit only internship. Interns must be registered/enrolled for the appropriate college internship/work-study course at an accredited college/university and be able to receive the proper school credit in exchange for working intern hours per the Florida State Labor Laws. Please speak with a college career counselor at your school to find out what class you need to register for in order to receive school credit for an internship. All hired station interns must submit an official verification letter from their college confirming that the student is enrolled in the proper intern course and will receive credit for the internship within the first 2 weeks of the internship. We also offer volunteer positions as we are a non-profit organization as well.

On and off air operations have been supported by generous contributions of time and talent by a growing number of volunteers in recent years.  These efforts have helped MTB to update music database files, maintenance and the upkeep of studio and transmitter equipments, and general administrative functions. Future volunteering needs include an around-the-clock air staff, music director, program director, public service and music news director, internet supervisor and webmaster, sales manager, general manager, and chief engineer.  Inquiries about these positions are invited by phone at 727-455-8848 or email sent to Rick@musictampabay.com.
